Three Thong Thursday

Thursday, 3 July 2008

Today is Thursday, isn't it?

I hope so, as the title would suggest just that.

More from my vast stockpile.

Verse

Yes, I've posted variations of these previously.

I'm still very fond of all of them.

Seriously

A few local thong shoots are finally going to happen, I should
have fresh pictures soon.

Lite Reds

Susie Q, when you going to model, Darlin'?

Tree at Timberline

Wednesday, 2 July 2008

This tree, which I suspect is a Hemlock, looks amazingly
like the Timberline symbol, as well as the tree itself is located
on the edge of the actual timberline.

Tree At Timberline

I'm not going to post on Wednesday, the yard work is calling
and that is very relaxing to me.

Late Hazy Day

Tuesday, 1 July 2008

There were big thunderstorms this morning, and lightning nearby.

The lifts didn't turn until eight a.m., our normal start time is six thirty.

The skies are hazy from the fires in California, which helps to cause
an inversion in the valleys.  This creates higher temps on the mountain,
while keeping the valleys a bit cooler.

It was hot on the snow, today.

Top of the Magic Mile

I was going to get up early and head for Trillium Lake for sunrise
reflections pictures of Mt. Hood.

The smoke haze makes that impossible.

Dammit.

This next shot is from the bottom of the Palmer Chairlift,
looking up to the Palmer snowfield.
The haze is visible in the background.

Palmer Chairlift

It was a beautiful day, good thing I rarely forget my sunscreen.

Dotted Very Red

Monday, 30 June 2008

Flowers are some of the coolest things.

And here is some proof.

Dotted

I should know the names of both of these.

But I do not.

They reside in my yard, along with a wide variety of others.

Very Red

It's nearly my weekend.
And I'm not tired, or burned out, or stressed.

Fireworks on Mt. Hood, this weekend.

Look for it.

Rockies Moon

Sunday, 29 June 2008

We drove through Colorado on the way to Oregon.

Stopping along the way, I shot many pictures, and promptly
moved on to the Oregon stuff, once we arrived.

This one comes from the western slope, the Colorado River
is directly behind me.

Rockies Moon

Not as hot today.  Looks even better for tomorrow.

I could take highs in the high 60's and 70's, for the entire summer.

I don't like hot weather.

Signage and SnowFalls

Saturday, 28 June 2008

A couple of random pictures, one of a small waterfall,
surrounded by snow, the other of the Trillium Lake sign.

SnowFalls

It's funny how my site traffic has grown quite a bit,
since I moved out here, but the comments are down.

Give me some words!!

Signage

80 degrees at the base of the Magic Mile lift, today.

When I drove the 25 miles down the mountain to home,
it was far worse.

Like 97°.   OUCH!!

75 and Sunny

Friday, 27 June 2008

Warm and sunny describes the weather accurately,
the last couple of days.

A reflection.  I am standing outside of the Wy'East
Day Lodge, Mt. Jefferson is reflected.

Twice.

Wy'East Reflection

This one, I've seen plenty of versions of.

Meadow

Have a great day!

Three Thong Thursday

Thursday, 26 June 2008

The weather is heating up in the lower elevations.

90's are forecast for Friday and Saturday.

It's warm in here, today.

There isn't a photo shoot in the works for Three Thong Thursdays,
but there are some prospects.

There are plenty of non-posted pictures to choose from
in my archives, I'm pretty sure I can make it through.

Things are going smoothly, at this point in time.
